This site has been produced to provide you with access to a range of online reference material as well as a comprehensive range of interactive Continuing Professional Development courses that have been specifically designed to meet the training needs of Local and Central Government Officers. This website offers two key services.
Our online courses are interactive and designed to encourage readers to participate rather than merely read from the screen. Our research suggests that officers would welcome such short courses to reinforce learning acquired on traditional training courses and also to facilitate cascade training. Each course will take the reader an average of two hours to complete when fully done. A set of course notes can be downloaded at the beginning of the course and a bespoke CPD certificate produced at the end to demonstrate that the course has been completed. All course content is regularly reviewed and updated to ensure that it reflects current legislation. Our Online Reference sections provide access to model procedure notes, worked examples of enforcement notices, reference materials and much more. They allow the reader to use our service as a resource centre, extracting particular information as and when needed.
